Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain long term customer relationships; Establish these relationships while engaging customers at all levels including senior levels of the customer organization
- Engage early in the customer buying process by diagnosing its needs and tailoring solutions to match
- Maintain a balance between daily and strategic duties : among quarterly results and long-term goals, of providing superior customer service and strategic account planning.
- Identify new sales opportunities while focusing on consultative support by building value propositions for solutions into the account
- Manage and build customer contacts, serving as the customer’s ambassador , trusted advisor and advocate; Focal point for relationship strategies, account and sales plans, proposal strategies, contract negotiations, etc.
- Relate with industrial customers while including all levels within an organization (technical buyers, economic buyers, and relationship buyers, executives and decision-makers)
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Engineering or similar field with concentration in Control
- At least 5 years’ experience in International Sales, managing and / or supporting commercial department in end user / distributor relationship
- More than 5 years experience in a continuous process industry (chemical, petrochemical, refining, pulp and paper, etc)
- 5 plus years experience in customer sales for the Industrial Automation Sector with experience in fields as Gas detection systems, control systems, instrumentation or liquid hydrocarbon storage
- Availability to travel to visit distributors, end customers and prospects in Argentina and Uruguay (+50% of time).
Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
English fluency to communicate in English on professional settings.
