Lenovo is looking to hire an Administrative Officer for our Whitsett Manufacturing plant. This role will play a vital role in supporting day-to-day operations by managing schedules, coordinating administrative tasks, and handling purchase orders. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in administrative duties, exceptional organizational skills, and proficiency in using Ariba for procurement processes.
What you'll do:
- Maintain office services by organizing office operations and procedures, controlling correspondence, designing filing systems, reviewing and approving supply requisitions, and managing the Plant manager’s calendar
- Manage expenses to maintain a monthly budget
- Organize and prepare for meetings, including gathering documents and attending to logistics of meetings
- Manage the administration of defined expenses related to plant operations at the US Fulfillment Center
- Manage the data inputs for receipts and invoicing that apply to the expenses
- Work actively with floor operations to confirm receipts and stock levels if necessary and daily organization for workflow
- Prepare regular reports on expenses and office budgets
- Answer and respond to phone calls, communicate messages and information to the executive
- Distribute and store correspondence (e.g. letters, emails, and packages)
- Prepare reports and presentations with statistical data, as assigned
- Coordinate travel arrangements
- Manage scheduling for company executive(s)
- Draft, review, and send communications on behalf of the Site Leader
Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- 4+ years experience as an Administrative Assistant
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in using Ariba for purchase order processing
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
