As an Associate Director of Sales at Emerging Strategy, you will play a critical role in driving our business growth in the U.
S. market by acquiring new clients. Your focus will be on converting inbound leads and engaging in strategic prospecting to identify new business opportunities.
You are expected to build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, effectively converting prospects into long-term clients.
Your sales approach will be targeted and data-driven, leveraging tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator to follow industry trends and identify potential opportunities, tailoring strategies to meet the evolving needs of clients.
In this collaborative role, you will work closely with the Growth Marketing team to align sales tactics with marketing strategies for seamless client acquisition.
Additionally, your interactions with the Delivery and Product Development teams will be vital in fully understanding and communicating the value of our offerings.

Key Responsibilities
- Meet and exceed sales targets, contributing to the overall growth objectives of the firm
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within target industries
- Generate new business opportunities by identifying potential clients and engaging in proactive outreach via cold calling, customized emails and LinkedIn outreach
- Convert inbound leads into sales by understanding client needs and proposing effective solutions
- Own the customized proposal writing and pitching process for each opportunity, collaborating with other functions as needed, but taking full responsibility for getting it done
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales strategies with marketing initiatives
- Maintain a thorough understanding of Emerging Strategy's offerings and market trends to effectively communicate our value proposition
- Regularly track and report on sales activities and pipeline status
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree or higher and excellent English language skills
- Have studied or worked in the U.S. or Canada
- 2-5 years selling strategy consulting, market research, or related services to new accounts in the U.S. market, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Exceedingly strong writing and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and persuade senior U.S. based executives
- You have some experience on the delivery side of consulting, market research, or related services
- You have a deep understanding of enterprise-level business growth challenges and solutions, and the ability to apply strategic business frameworks and concepts to a client’s situation
- You are disciplined about consistently putting in the prospecting work needed to generate results
- You can work under pressure, you figure things out, and get things done
- You are excited about working with an international, multicultural team
This is a fully remote position and you will need to work mostly U.S. Eastern Time hours due to the commercial nature of the role.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base Salary USD 2000-3000 per month plus uncapped commission plan, which could be 3x or more than your base salary. The compensation will be fixed in USD and paid in USD.
