Role overview

What you'll do

• Create and manage comprehensive master project plan from scratch in collaboration with customer and various internal and external stake-holders
• Translate customer requirements into formal transition plans that culminate in customer acceptance of results while meeting business objectives.
• Understand Avaya and VoIP technologies and apply this understanding to meet project objectives
• Create project plans and communicate with senior customer personnel
• Collaborate with customer executives to develop and execute an overall program transition and customized operational model that supports the agency's vision.
• Subsequently leads a team of internal and partner resources in initiating, planning, controlling, executing, and closing tasks to produce the delivered solution.
• Executes a wide range of process activities beginning with the initial technical response to an order through development, test and final delivery.
• Formulate partnerships between customer, suppliers, and staff. Anticipates potential project related problems
• Use refined techniques for identifying, eliminating, or mitigating solution, project, and business risks.
• Analyze information and situations and implements actions, independently or through the management team, to ensure project objectives are met.
• Analyze new and complex project related issues and creates innovative solutions involving finance, scheduling, technology, methodology, tools, and solution components.
• Leads third party vendors as necessary to deliver an end-to-end solution.

What you bring to the role

• 5-8 Years of Project Management experience in Telecom industry
• Previous experience in Avaya Project Manager capacity
• Good understanding of Telephony Infrastructure (PSTN, SIP, VOIP, Call Routing, IVR, etc.)
• Proven understanding of Avaya Experience Platform (AEP) and Avaya Call Center Elite products
• Experience in migrating and transforming Enterprise Telephony solutions
• Proficient in MS Project and MS Office suite
• Hands-on experience with Jira Project Management

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a remote position open to qualified applicants in Ontario and/or Nova Scotia, where our hubs are located.
