Job Title: Senior Business Analyst - Salesforce, Retail Experience
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborates with stakeholders to understand business needs and value in the context of the customer environment.
- Plan discovery activities based on key stakeholders.
- Map business processes, elicit requirements, and write user stories.
- Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills when working with business and technical stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Drive scrum meetings (planning, daily, retrospectives etc) and provide capacity calculations for sprint planning and calculate velocity of team.
- Manage risk and dependencies and escalate when necessary.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to remove roadblocks.
- Manage stakeholder's expectations and maintain a good relationship with 3rd party vendors
Qualifications
Experience with common business practices such as eliciting requirements, mapping business processes, writing user stories, validating solutions, user acceptance testing, and facilitating virtual and in-person workshops.
- Able to apply Salesforce business analysis best practices, guide collaboration between business stakeholders, act as a liaison between business and development teams, and understand the implications of various software development lifecycle methodologies.
- Experience working in a particular industry or domain and supporting the business with the Salesforce Platform (i.e. Experience Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, CRMA).Familiar with the Salesforce implementation lifecycle
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working with any of these Salesforce products: CRM, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud etc.
- Prefer Salesforce BA certification or scrum master certification.
- Ability and willingness to travel once per month to Winston Salem.
- Understand Salesforce environment best practices.
- Experience in a given industry environment, ideally CPG company
- Understand facilitation and documentation techniques.
- Move easily between a wide variety of influencing and communication styles to engage effectively with diverse audiences and maximize impact.
- Become a trusted advisor with key stakeholders.
- Break down complex business processes into manageable steps.
- Evaluate and recommend Salesforce features as part of solution design.
- Prefer Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) experience.
- Knowledge of ADO or Jira tools.
Salary and Other Compensation
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
