Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain containerized CI/CD pipelines using Docker, GitLab, and Jenkins
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration of new features and updates
- Monitor and optimize CI/CD pipelines for performance and efficiency
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CI/CD pipelines and related tools
- Maintain and manage our private Docker registry using Harbor
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies in the DevOps space
- Work closely with other DevOps engineers, developers, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and collaboration
- Participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior team members
- Contribute to the development and improvement of DevOps processes and tools
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or a similar role
- At least 1 year experience with Docker, including experience with Dockerfile, Docker Compose, and Docker Swarm
- At least 1 year experience with GitLab and Jenkins, including experience with their respective CI/CD features
- Minimum 3 years experience with Linux
- Familiarity with Harbor, including experience with image management, security, and access control
- At least 1 year experience with scripting languages such as Bash or Python
- Previous Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with GitLab CI/CD features such as job scheduling, artifact management, and pipeline triggers
- Familiarity with Jenkins plugins and extensions
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack
- Experience with security best practices and compliance standards such as PCI DSS or ISO 27001
