Job Purpose and Impact

The Finance Operations Lead will be leading a large and intercultural team and will be responsible to develop the strategy for the daily operations of Credit, Collections, Cash Application, Disputes and Billing in Latin-American region (Argentina, Brazil, and Costa Rica) for all of the businesses in the region as well as being global tag for the Agricultural business.
In this role, you will provide strategic input for the organizational, operational and stakeholder model for the shared services scope. You will build and maintain strong business relationships with key finance and business partners focused on process maturity to meet organizational goals and expectations.

Key Accountabilities

Provide leadership and technical direction for the e2e process of Credit to Cash teams to assist to develop and define a vision and strategy for operational excellence within the Finance Operations organization.
Identify and implement consolidation opportunities, process simplification, standardization and improvement to bring value to the organization aligning with the Finance Operations strategy in partnership with global process leaders. Develop key metric measurements benchmarked against industry best practices.
Identify and execute internal control systems to ensure effective and efficient operations and compliance with laws, regulations, and corporate policies.
Build strong partnerships with business and senior finance leaders by representing the global Finance Operations organization in regional or global leadership business meetings to create transparency, resolve critical escalations and plan improvement projects on key initiatives.
Build the team capabilities in alignment with the finance transformation road map and provide coaching and change leadership across the team within the defined areas.
You will provide strategic leadership, development and talent management for direct reports and their organization, which may include forecasting resource needs, recruiting, hiring, performance management, training and budgeting. You will also coordinate subordinate managers and supervisors in selecting staff to align with current and future needs of the organization.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of eight years of related work experience, five years of leadership experience
Proficient level of English
Other minimum qualifications may apply

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree or other post-secondary degree.
Minimum of 10 years of finance work experience within a multinational company.
Experience developing the strategy, plans and processes to effectively deliver operational excellence on key accounting activities.
Experience managing transformation initiatives with direct and indirect influence at multiple levels of the organization.
Experience managing large teams in different locations.
Experience in a shared service organization.
Experience in the agroindustry.
Certification in Lean Six Sigma.
Continuous improvement focus.
Customer driven mindsdet.
Experience in SAP implementatios.
Proficient level of Portuguese.

PRIOR BENEFICIAL EXPERIENCES
Experience developing the strategy, plan and processes to effectively deliver operational excellence on key accounting activities.
Experience driving organizational and process change by communicating effectively, creating transparency and managing expectations at all levels of the organization.
Experience managing large change initiatives with direct and indirect influence at multiple levels of the organization.
