Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior IT Project Manager to lead and manage a wide range of technology-related projects across Alexa Translations. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in project management, ideally with a Scrum Master mindset. The candidate will play a crucial role in driving all technology related projects across two distinct parts of our business: our AI powered translation SaaS platform and Professional Translation business. The Senior IT Project Manager will work very closely with our Software Engineering and R&D teams to ensure effective, timely, on-scope, and on-budget product releases and project deliveries. Additionally, the role includes managing various TechOps projects, ranging from implementing new software systems to handling general IT projects. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage multiple IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget. Develop detailed project plans, including defining project scope, goals, deliverables, resources, budget, and timelines. Lead and guide cross-functional teams, including software developers, engineers, and other technical staff to ensure team collaboration, motivation, and effective milestone achievement. Implement Agile methodologies and Scrum practices to streamline project processes. Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs. This includes negotiating with stakeholders and maintaining alignment with business objectives. Manage project risks, including mitigation strategies and contingency planning. Facilitate regular project meetings and provide detailed project status reports to stakeholders. Act as a primary point of contact for all project-related communications.  Oversee project budgets including tracking expenditures and ensuring the project remains within financial constraints.  Coordinate with external vendors and manage resources effectively to ensure project requirements are met. Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management practices within the organization. Lead, mentor and coach Project Managers and other junior IT staff as needed.  Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT project management, with a proven track record of managing multiple projects. B2B SaaS experience preferred.  Scrum Master certification or equivalent Agile project management experience. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams. Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills. Experience with Confluence, Jira and other project management software and tools. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong technical skills with the ability to communicate with software engineers and R&D. Powered by JazzHR
