As a Lead Customer Application Engineer, you will own the pipe system design and engage with customers on pre-contract requirements. You will provide technical support throughout all stages of project tendering process from early concept to full tender proposal.
As a Lead Customer Application Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Being a technical focal point for tendering process for both internal and external stakeholders
- Providing technical support throughout all stages of project tendering process from early concept to full tender proposal
- Facilitating engineering output from other departments and sub-suppliers as required to develop quality output
- Owning the technical solution and inputs to risk mitigation
- Communicating aspects of the technical proposal to internal and external stakeholders, acting as company representative
- Being commercially aware with an understanding of relevant markets and customer economic value
- Working on the calculation of plant, system and equipment requirements
- Participating in, and contributes to, improvement of process and tools, including product development and cost-out

To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college in Engineering/Technology
- Be able to contribute to close engineering team dynamic
- Be able to own tasks and drives solutions with a bold approach
- Have sound oral and written communication skills, interpersonal, leadership skills and be able to coordinate several projects simultaneously
- Be able to influence others, manage output, lead small teams and effectively managing time, output and risk
- Have effective problem identification and solution skills
