As Lead Engineer - Mechanical Component you will be responsible for activities contributing to the design and development of products, solutions and systems. Includes activities linked to technical improvement of existing products and components.
 

As a Lead Engineer - Mechanical Component, you will be responsible for:

• Executing the design, FEM analysis (Ansys preferred), or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles
• Adhering projects to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements (including mechanical and/or electrical engineering for all products)
• Leading analytical and design activities using proven technologies and vested approaches and methods
• Communicating across direct organization
• Presenting to leaders in specific technical space and on cross functional teams on how technologies interconnect and contribute to overall strategy
• Connecting the dots across technologies and develop cross-technology solutions and Communicating across the function in area of expertise

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a degree in Engineering or a relevant experience in Engineering/Technology
• Have significant experience as an engineer in similar area of competency (Mechanical Component, Gas Turbines)
• Have good communication and interpersonal skills
• Have ability to influence others and lead small teams
• Have ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously
• Have proven analytical and problem-solving skills
• Be fluent in English
