Lenovo’s Customer Quality Management team is currently seeking a Product Engineer for Monitor and Display devices. In this position, you will be performing failure analysis on customer defects, issue resolution, and implementing future product improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preliminary failure analysis on product defect and field claims
- Drive defect resolution and perform lessons learned with product owners in cooperation with Product Quality Managers
- Perform onsite customer investigation as needed
- Provide professional feedback on the status of ongoing investigations to internal and external customers and stakeholders
- Communicate positively to aid in driving problem solutions and future product improvements
- Serve as the voice of the customer and acceptance of field solutions
- Evaluate special quality requests from Geo/Service/Sales with a cross-function team
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of Quality or Customer Service Management experience
Preferred Requirements:
- Familiar with Monitor/TV/LCD technology key points of quality control (LCD/monitor/TV factory quality management experience is preferred)
- English language skills are required (Chinese language skills also preferred)
- Experience with laboratory equipment like oscilloscope, multi-meter, USB-C analyzer, etc.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication with strong attention to detail
- Strong organization, coordination, and project management skills with a strong sense of ownership
- Flexibility to work some evening hours
- Ability to travel both domestically and internationally as needed
- Team player attitude with the ability to work proactively & autonomously
- Ability to work in cross-functional and multi-cultural environments
- Good with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Office 365 software
