Ofsaa Functional Lead

We have an immediate need for a highly skilled “OFSAA Functional Lead” Business Analyst with good business requirements, data, regulatory functional knowledge, Capture Reg Reporting business requirements specific to OFSAA calculations and transformation needs, and design and configure Oracle Financial Analytical Application modules for Basel Solution

Required Qualifications

1.               BASEL/Large Exposure experience with OFSAA

2.               Regulatory Functional knowledge of both US and Canadian OSFI experience

3.               OFSAA stack full end to end from data ingestion to regulatory reporting

4.               Strong experience in a financial services organization including Regulatory reporting & submissions, risk management, finance and technology.

5.               In depth domain knowledge in Retail and Commercial Banking especially in Compliance, Knowledge and understanding) of regulatory frameworks, risk management principles within a financial services firm

Strong experience working with OFSAA modules OFSI, FSDF, CAP, GL Recon specifically on implementing Basel 3, Large Exposure framework requirements

Job Responsibilities

• Capture Reg Reporting business requirements specific to OFSAA calculations and transformation needs
• Validate the OFSAA solution meets the functional requirements and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with clients and project teams to understand project requirements.
• Design and configure Oracle Financial Analytical Application modules for Basel Solution
• Conduct gap analysis to identify discrepancies between existing processes and to be processes
• Design and configure Oracle Financial Analytical Application modules for Basel III Solution based on client requirements.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including technical consultants, business analysts, and project managers.
• Develop functional and technical specifications, test scenarios, and test cases.
• Assist in testing the configured OFSAA modules in System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) environments.
• Ensure accurate implementation of capital computation and risk management practices
• Create Functional project documentation
• Collaborate with technical teams to define data requirements and design data structures for the application.
• Assist clients in user training and provide post-implementation support
• Provide guidance and expertise on system enhancements and optimizations to ensure optimal performance and compliance
• Conduct system configuration, customization, and data migration activities

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $150,000 – 1165,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
