Product Management Intern

We have an exciting opportunity for an Intern to work on our core platform supporting the Cloud and Software team part of the Global Innovation Center. Throughout the internship experience, you will receive direct feedback from peers and managers, engage with other interns, and will have multiple learning opportunities through practical real-world experience.  

This is an exciting role to work closely with the Product Mangers, Development, Security, DevOps, and Architecture teams to develop highly scalable solutions that integrate client agents and cloud services. To be successful in this role, you are expected to be highly hands-on, have knowledge of basic software engineering concepts, and be motivated to learn new technologies. 

Interns are expected to be physically located in their manager’s Lenovo worksite location (Morrisville, NC) for the duration of their internship a minimum of 3 days a week. 

Responsibilities: 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support execution of the core software platform for the Cloud and Software team. 
• Assist in conducting market research to gather insights about target customers, industry trends, and competitive landscape, around developer portals and frameworks. 
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of product documentation, such as product requirements documents (PRDs) and user stories, to ensure clear communication of product features and functionalities. 
• Help in the preparation of product roadmaps and release plans, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and customer needs. 

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's, master's, or Ph.D. program in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Product, or a related field. 

• Strong communication skills to clearly and concisely communication complex information to peers, managers, and customers
