The Role

Charles Taylor InsureTech is looking to hire a Sales Assistant. The chosen candidate will play a key role within the team of Account Managers. The person in charge of this role will be assigned to a number of Clients, to whom they will have to provide commercial and administrative support to ensure the efficiency and success of commercial actions. This role involves performing tasks such as: contract renewal, price negotiation, administrative tasks, customer communication, sales follow-up and close collaboration with the sales team and other departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate and champion Charles Taylor Values by ensuring Agility, Integrity, Care, and Accountability and Collaboration.
  • This role involves the renewal of on-going contracts and negotiation of prices for assigned clients.
  • Track assigned accounts and update status of current proposals in the system.
  • Track up sale opportunities detected and update status of opportunities in the system.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of action plans to close sales.
  • Manage documentation associated with business transactions.
  • Maintain records of actions performed in the different systems of the company.
  • Performance reports and sales analysis.
  • Answer calls and emails from customers to provide information about products and services.
  • Coordinate meetings and demonstrations with customers and area representatives as needed.
  • Post-sales follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in the organization of trade events and product presentations.
  • Collaboration with Sales Team (new customers): If necessary, work closely with sales representatives to provide necessary support.
  • Facilitate internal communication to ensure alignment in commercial strategies.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proficiency in written/reading English.
  • Previous experience in administrative or sales support roles.
  • Basic knowledge of the technology industry (desirable)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and CRM systems.
  • Proactivity and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
  • Customer orientation and problem-solving skills.

The ideal candidate must be able to ensure an efficient flow of information and support in sales activities, contributing to the overall growth and success of the sales team and the organization. Must be methodical and extremely organized with attention to detail.
