Role overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to join our team on a remote basis. As a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and handling cloud-based solutions that enable rapid delivery of software and services. You will collaborate with multi-functional teams to optimize software development processes and implement continuous integration and deployment strategies on the Azure platform.

What you’ll do
- DevOps' responsibilities include DEV, QA, and PROD back-end system setup, deployment, and supervising according to client and departmental standards for all applications in the Loyalty Systems portfolio.
- DevOps for Java Spring & Spring Boot Azure Function Apps and batch applications, along with accompanying cloud infrastructure, including EventHub, databases, and other cloud infrastructure, and network connections to on-premise infrastructure
- Build and update infrastructure using Terraform scripts to ensure PROD and other environments are similarly set up where appropriate.
- Build and upgrade CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps and GitHub actions, migrating as appropriate to GitHub Actions.
- Ensure applications are reporting to Application Insights.
- Ensure application SLAs are supervised and alerts are configured to page appropriate on-call individuals.
- Ensure deployments are automatically registered with the deployment tracking system.
- Using Microsoft Azure common features like Resource Group, Storage Account, Function App, Application Insights, Key Vault, VNet/Subnet, App Service Plan, Event Hub, Event Grid, Several Triggers like Blob/HTTP/Timer/Service Bus, PowerShell Scripting, ARM Templates, Slot Deployment, etc.
