At Cognizant Digital Engineering, we believe that a small cross functional team made up of a Product Manager, an Architect, pairs of Developers, and the necessary domain experts like UI/UX designers or Big Data Analysts, can build software faster and with higher quality than having independently working silos of skills. A small team can also build empathy for each other, increasing their ability to react to change coming from either the client, external market realities, or from the end user as we consistently execute through build-measure-learn cycles.
Key Responsibilities
· Design, lead and build an automated deployment tool set and infrastructure including environments, code management, CI and CD process.
· Help define and set best practices for code management, build, deploy and release across multiple teams/products in CI /CD model using AWS Services like EC2, S3, ECS, EKS, SQS, SNS, Lambda etc.
· Work closely with the software development team and other functional groups to develop and provide a robust, flexible and scalable platform.
Skills and Requirements
· 5+ Years’ Experience as DevOps Engineer in creating CI/CD pipelines for various technologies.
· Code management best practices such as branching, merging, and integration strategies.
· Hands on experience in enterprise grade CICD platforms like Jenkins or Gitlab or GitHub actions or any CICD architecture is important.
· Hands on experience in writing yaml files, building pipelines and release pipelines.
· Hands on experience of DevSecOps tools like JIRA, CICD, IAST/DAST tools, APM tools like Dynatrace, AWS Cloud watch, New Relic etc is needed.
· 3+ Years’ Experience in Containerization platforms such as Docker, EKS Kubernetes.
· 2+ Experience in with AWS Cloud.
· Experience in using at least one of the configuration management tools like Chef, Puppet or Ansible.
· Experience in using Terraform or Cloud formation.
· Experience on AWS native DevOps services
· Administrative proficiency on Windows, Unix systems Linux (CentOS, or other flavor)
· Exceptional scripting experience (Groovy, Python, etc.)
· Certifications in AWS Cloud, CKAD, CKA is required.
Location : Louisville, KY or Remote in USA

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $ 43,900 to 133,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
