We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager, Marketing to drive awareness and lead generation. This US-based full-time role is within our Global Marketing group in the office of our CMO.
Cognizant's Retail and Consumer vertical practice is looking for a highly talented content marketing strategy and execution lead to drive strategy and development of vertical-oriented content. As a member of this team, you will work very closely across vertical service line and corporate marketing teams to identify what content is needed, build and manage editorial calendar and create and manage content production in support of the vertical.
You will work closely with leadership, product, sales and cross-marketing functions to develop and execute targeted, integrated marketing programs that move prospects through awareness, engagement and decision in support of business sales growth. You will also serve as the primary connector between Retail and Consumer sales and marketing to drive sales enablement programs.
Responsibilities Include
- Lead internal communications to the vertical's sales and business stakeholders, including:
- Develop and distribute monthly and ad-hoc Retail and Consumer marketing content alerts
- Develop and distribute quarterly marketing newsletters
- Provide support to the Marketing Associate Director and Marketing team as needed, including:
- Support for annual strategic marketing planning
- Development and execution of, and reporting on, marketing programs and campaigns
- Content and messaging development, including thought leadership and solution-specific content (solution brochures, white papers/research, blogs, videos, web and social media content, etc.)
- Account-based marketing
- Management of client events and tradeshows
- Product positioning and messaging
- Development of sales enablement and collateral materials
- Sales team engagement
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of five years of directly related experience which includes marketing support and promotion of technology products & solutions
- Demonstrated digital and social marketing experience
- Excellent written communication skills
- Strong project management skills with attention to detail
- Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated, innovative, collaborative
- Willingness to roll up your sleeves and execute
- Fluency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong CRM and automation system experience
- Product, Services or Solutions Marketing support within the Retail and Consumer Goods vertical
- Experience within a large, complex global organization
- Salesforce and Pardot proficiency
- Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts, Communications, Marketing, Business
Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between [$137,700 - $143,600] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
