Role overview
We are seeking a passionate ServiceNow Business Analyst to join our growing and dynamic team! This role will be for Cognizant's Infrastructure practice.
What you’ll do
- Monitors and measures relevant performance metrics to assess the performance of IT resources and optimizes performance through process improvement activities. Their work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.
- Devises measures and targets to assess and optimize the performance of IT functions, services, projects and any related improvement initiative.
- Identifies and analyses performance measures and metrics, develops and maintains balanced scorecards and dashboards, and evaluates and monitors performance in IT-related areas. May include network performance management, application performance management (APM), (operating) system performance management (physical and virtual/cloud) and business transactions performance.
- Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas.
- Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.
What you bring to the role
- Key requirement: ServiceNow Business Analyst or implementation experience required
- Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of technical experience
- Experience in problem analysis and process documentation
- Experience with Microsoft office suite
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of SQL
- Experience analyzing and presenting complex data
- Strong analytical skills and creative problem-solving ability
- Six Sigma Certified
