Business Analyst
The Role:
Cognizant’s Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Business Analyst with 8+ years’ experience building high-performing, scalable, enterprise applications. You will be part of a digital software team that works on high-demand applications. Our engineers have a passion for high-quality, reliable, and maintainable code. You will work side by side with product managers, designers, and clients, making decisions together to quickly deliver valuable working software to clients and their users. Our engineers are agile and retrospective, and not afraid to identify what we’re doing wrong, so we can fix it, and what we’re doing right, so we can improve on it. Responsibilities:
- Associate should have strong healthcare background.
- Delivery experience in Agile.
- At least 5 years of experience in business and functional requirements gathering.
- Serve as a Scrum Master for one or more Agile development teams, ensuring adherence to Agile principles and Scrum practices.
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Guide the team in breaking down work into user stories, estimating effort, and creating and maintaining the product backlog.
- Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to prioritize and refine the product backlog, ensuring that it is well-groomed and ready for development.
- Foster a collaborative team environment, encouraging effective communication and knowledge sharing.
- Provide coaching and guidance to the team on Agile best practices and continuous improvement.
- Monitor team velocity and work with the team to improve productivity and predictability.
- Utilize Jira or similar Agile project management tools to manage and track the team's progress, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Leverage your commercial banking knowledge to understand and incorporate relevant domain-specific requirements into the software development process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective delivery of business objectives.
Required Qualifications:
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
- Expert in PO Analysis & Planning Dx Product Lifecycle Mgmt Product vision and roadmap.
- Payer, Domain knowledge
- Good in Stakeholder, communication, financial, resource management and all the management aspects.
- Strong knowledge and expertise in using Jira or similar Agile project management tools.
- In-depth understanding of commercial banking processes, systems, and industry trends.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and inspire teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
