The objective of the position is to lead, coordinate and manage the day-to-day efforts relating to recruiting, qualifying and contracting freelance interpreters and translators to the highest efficiency, productivity and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Promote and uphold the company culture and industry ethics and standards.
Create and manage all interpreter and translator recruitment processes and procedures.
Execute, manage and lead the recruitment, qualification and contracting process.
Manage the engagement of the talent pool to maximum efficiency.
Cultivate strong relationships with the talent.
Lead and manage the quality control process to meet the highest standards for quality and compliance.
Create, manage and report on KPIs to company leadership.
Requirements:
Experience in Talent Management: Previous experience in managing talent pools, preferably in a similar industry or role, would be beneficial. This includes recruitment, engagement, and retention strategies.
Knowledge of Interpreting and Translation Industry.
Recruitment and Onboarding Expertise: Strong skills in designing and implementing recruitment processes and procedures, as well as onboarding practices, are crucial. This includes identifying qualified candidates, conducting interviews, and ensuring they are trained in relevant systems and procedures.
Strong Communication Skills.
Quality Control and Compliance Knowledge: Understanding of quality control processes and compliance standards in the interpreting and translation industry is important for maintaining high-quality services and meeting regulatory requirements.
Analytical and Reporting Skills: Proficiency in creating, managing, and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) is necessary for tracking recruitment metrics, monitoring talent pool performance, and providing insights to company leadership.
Customer Service Orientation
Tech-Savviness: Familiarity with relevant technologies and tools used in talent management, scheduling, and reporting, such as CRM systems and project management software, would be advantageous.
