As a project manager you will support the Operations Team with the production of language services in accordance with our ISO-accredited quality management system. Your primary focus will be working with our accounts, but as a true team player, your work will also involve a wide range of services in other languages and markets.
Responsibilities:
- Work as a part of our global Operations Team.
- Collaborate cross team by participating in company strategic projects.
- Support the management of regular projects covering a wide range of our services to meet revenue and margin targets.
- Carry out proofreading, editing, coding and translation (occasionally) as well as text analyses and other text processing.
- Source the most appropriately skilled linguists or facility providers.
- Use translation management software to leverage internal and translation memory (TM) segment repetitions.
- Update the company’s administration systems for project, supplier and client data in accordance with our procedures.
- Take full responsibility for the project life cycle, ensuring timely delivery and quality of service to our clients.
- Work with established accounts to provide helpful, knowledgeable, and professional support to our clients.
- Work with account managers to build trusted relationships with clients and develop efficient solutions to their language requirements with support from the Ops manager.
- Resolve client disputes and complaints with your manager’s support.
- Liaise with our Global Operations Team to ensure excellent quality of service and high standards of customer care.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a project management role within the language services industry.
- Good industry knowledge.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English + one additional language.
- Good time management skills.
