Vice President of Operations.
The VP is responsible for strategic leadership and operational oversight that ensures the brand consistently delivers a superior product with an exceptional customer experience.
This position directly oversees the Franchise Operations and Training Team. The VP of Ops supports and drives growth while enhancing guest and team member experience.
They are responsible for establishing the foundation, training and ongoing support for a successful and profitable franchise business that will drive same store sales growth and operates in a manner that is consistent with our brand purpose, standards, and franchise philosophy.
Responsibilities
Create and translate the overall business strategy into day-to-day execution, providing coaching and feedback to the operations and training team
Drive growth within the franchise network through developing strong franchisee relationships, support programs, and training resources
Identify, select, build resources and execute strategic plans that drive franchisees sales growth and improve franchisees unit-level economics
Define and implement best practices to improve system-wide consistency and synergy throughout all shops
Oversee new franchise owner training, including curriculum development, KPI reporting, and follow-up. Create ongoing training curriculum for franchise owners to support their ability to grow and operate their businesses.
Develop meaningful business relationships with fellow leadership team peers to best help the brand evolve and flourish
Lead the development, distribution and on-going evaluation of operational standards, policies, and procedures to ensure alignment with brand standards, safety standards, and legal requirements
Reviews franchise profit and loss statements, quality reports, customer feedback and store audits to identify trends and implementation of best practices to enhance operational support and training
Develops integrated plans and drives the overall implementation of new / enhanced products, procedures and standards while maintaining the integrity of the brand
Oversee R&D and new product development and work collaboratively with marketing team for establishing seasonal promotions calendar as well as menu innovation
Oversee programs and process for field activations, communications, franchisee escalations, and franchisee compliance
Achieve new store growth and same-store sales objectives while ensuring franchise adherence of contractual standards and achieve KPI goals
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred
Proven experience in a senior operations role within the food and beverage industry, in a franchise environment for 7+ years
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams
Exceptional strategic planning and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
