We have partnered with a worldwide global quantitative asset management firm with over $7 billion in assets under management looking to expand their DevOps team in their new office in Uruguay.
What you'll be doing as a DevOps Engineer :
We are seeking a Senior DevOps engineer to join the team that works on a complex distributed architecture, spanning physical machines, and virtualizing on-prem host / cloud computing.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage complexity and tackle problems across multiple stack layers as a part of a small team championing operational excellence.
What you'll need to be successful in this job :
- Linux operating system internals, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
- Network stack and the ability to troubleshoot complex connectivity issues.
- On-Prem DevOps experience
- CI / CD / SDLC technology
- Kubernetes, Docker, or similar virtualization technologies
- Distributed Telemetry frameworks
- Scripting skills ideally with Python or Go
- In-depth SQL experience
- Upper intermediate / Advanced level of English
- Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science or related careers
