forma de trabajoWe are seeking an experienced and innovative Technical Manager for Business Process Improvement (DFX) to join our dynamic team in the Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG). In this position, you will play a pivotal role in driving the design for excellence philosophy into our culture and product development process. Your expertise will ensure that our products not only lead industry performance but also optimize for efficiency and effectiveness in all aspects of the product enhancing our operational productivity and competitiveness.
This will be a full time, supplemental role.
Responsibilities include:
• Engage with product design team to define and resolve any manufacturing issues
• Define best DFx practices and principles during early product design phase
• Provide manufacturing / assembly standards to ensure a product design can be scaled into a high-quality production yield rate
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to assure automations and fixtures developments are meeting the overall goals for product project schedule and cost
• Research and implement cutting edge of manufacturing technologies and processes to ensure best in class quality standard production output
Basic Qualifications:
• 7+ year's experience in product design, manufacturing, or related engineering roles, with a focus on Design for Excellence in the development process.
Preferred Qualifications:
• 10+ years of experience in the product development & manufacturing industry (Specifically DFX).
• 7+ years project management experience, with technical leadership skills for problem solving and conflict resolution.
• A BS in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
