Intelligent Automation, Advisory and Community Engagement Lead

 

Position description:

Our Intelligent Operations and Automation (“IOA”) practice focuses on providing Robotic Process Automation, Smart Data Intake, Machine learning, AI, and Analytics for mission critical business processes to major industries globally. It is one of the fastest growing practices in the company, and a key pillar of our digital offerings. We are seeking an Advisory and Community Engagement Lead to work with customers across our portfolio to help build, tune, and enhance their operations.  This includes driving a standards-based, repeatable, systematic practice within the client organization to build out and operate an IPA capability, and working with communities of practice to scale Citizen Development programs.

 

The right candidate for this role brings a broad knowledge of the tools and techniques to create value with Intelligent Process Automation and helps identify, vet, and onboard new tools.  They are constantly looking for ways to cross pollinate our engagements with a variety of different ideas to improve operations.  They bring a healthy data discipline to every engagement so that tweaks and enhancements can be objectively evaluated.  They are a strong communicator, enjoy building communities, and have demonstrated experience managing projects and organizational change.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support client engagements to drive excellence within their automation programs
  • Engage with current and potential customers to evaluate and communicate Cognizant IOA capabilities and their specific applicability to a given proposed project
  • Support clients in initial operating model set-up and provide ongoing support to continually elevate the program to achieve scale and optimal benefits
  • Develop and operationalize communications plans to maximize IA benefit across channels, increase community membership, and promote the program
  • Mentor leaders, stakeholders, and members of the community of practice on IA and help them to succeed
  • Document and disseminate best practices in a structured, repeatable way
  • Serve as a conduit between community members, technical experts, and domain experts
  • Assist leadership and other advisors in crafting our offerings and implementation systems, and provide thought leadership through mindshare and social advocacy activities
  • Conceptualize, design, and lead community events, including but not limited to; recognition events / awards, internal trade shows, and Hackathons
  • Develop and maintain metrics to objectively monitor the progress of the program, inclusive of leading indicators for program health

 

 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience with Automation technologies, vendors, and enablement technologies.  Preferred experience with UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, or Microsoft Power Platform
  • Ability and willingness to be hands on with clients to develop, create, and implement process, tools, and methodologies
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and executing large scale technology-based programs and events involving a diverse set of business participants
  • A strong ability to communicate, and to build a formal communications strategy that can be leveraged by clients.
  • Demonstrated experience building a business case and communicating with leadership. Understanding the implications of large scale and Community Engagements is desired.
  • Demonstrated organization skills with proven ability to manage multiple deliverables, drive outcomes and problem solve issues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a virtual and highly matrixed environment.
  • Willing to travel to client location as per engagement requirement.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $117,000– $179,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
