The Retail Inside Sales Representative (ISR) will be responsible for providing sales and analytical support for the consumer retail organization supporting our Account Executives (AE) supporting Best Buy and Target. The ISR will partner with the Retail Account Executives to support sales activities while performing various functions such as:
- Sales Reporting and Analysis
- Web Site Audits
- Manage MDF Claims
- Customer Service Liaison
- Assist in sku Creation and Maintenance
- Cycle Transition Management
Responsibilities:
- Help to manage sell-in and sell-out of PCs and other consumer products and achieve associated quarterly quota.
- Weekly sell-through reporting and analysis at a sku level to predict upside needs and cuts ultimately reducing out-of-stock and potential excess inventory (FGI).
- Review accounts to ensure products are set up accurately utilizing best-in-class content, verify configurations and pricing.
- Manage MDF claims to ensure accuracy by verifying through reporting on a weekly/monthly basis to minimize audit risk.
- Is a liaison for the Account Executives in customer service escalations related to miscellaneous requests such as updating warranties to match the customer purchase date and defective product resolution.
- Assist in sku creation and maintenance throughout the product’s lifecycle.
- Partner with the Retail Account Executives and the Business Management team to manage the cycle transition and communicate key dates and labor needs to hit deadlines.
- Own the Supplier Direct Fulfillment (SDF) process with retail partners (Forecasting, Product Set Up).
- Manage weekly/monthly promotional calendar and update with Actual vs. Forecast Sales within accounts.
- Responsible for providing competitive analysis to ensure Lenovo can proactively plan short and long-term assortment/product portfolio strategies.
- Provide support for team projects, as needed.
Basic Requirements:
- 2+ years of sales industry experience or related field
- Bachelors degree
Preferred Requirements:
- Understanding of the PC or CE market and the customer buying and planning cycles.
- Experience managing sell through, promotional funding and vendor programs with a large format retailer.
- Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point experience
