Technical Project Intern

Lenovo ThinkEdge BU team is looking for a Technical Project Intern.  In this role, you will drive tactical projects with top-down oversight throughout entire execution to ensure success.

Primary Job Responsibilities 

• Lead and drive phases of project life cycle: Initiation, planning, executing, controlling, and closing.
• Support the definition, and documentation of project requirements, scope, deliverables, and timeline.
• Monitor project progress and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables.
• Create regular communications to stakeholders on progress efforts
• Communicating both written and verbal activities with Project Owners to meet specified project deadlines.
• Develop weekly projects review, highlight progress, key challenges, risks, and opportunities.

Basic Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in Business, MIS or similar
• Previous experience with MS Office Suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project Management, Visio).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in Business, MIS or similar
• Familiarity with project management methodology
• Familiarity with RACI models of accountability
• Basic technical knowledge of Management Information System
• Knowledge and experience public cloud (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)
