Consulting Lead TPM (for a leading TPM practitioner)
Lead a large CPG relationship as a Consulting lead, providing strategic direction and advice to client, to improve business performance, operations goals and enhance business processes in Trade Promotions Management and Optimization. Ability to converse and prescribe the client on their Lead to Cash cycle, including but not limited to Pre-event analysis, TPM fund management, Post-event analysis etc. Expected to have a deep understanding of clients' businesses and CPG industry, as well as a thorough knowledge of the latest technology trends and best practices. Responsible for cultivating and maintaining relationships with key clients, driving sales and managing the delivery of service. Collaborate with other business leaders and cross-functional teams to drive innovation and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
· Build and maintain relationships with clients’ executives (CxOs), identifying their business needs and delivering high-value consulting services aligned to their strategic objective
· Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, serving as the primary point of leadership connect for Trade promotions
· Assess CPG company’s TPM processes and recommend best practices, process efficiencies etc.
· Help CPG companies optimize their TPM spend through data analysis, ROI calculation, optimizing processes etc.
· Build and manage a high-performing global consulting team, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure high-quality service delivery and client satisfaction.
· Lead projects to define TPM processes, requirements, implement leading TPM and TPO solutions
· Collaborate with other business leaders and cross-functional teams to drive innovation and growth
· Provide thought leadership to clients on CPG trends, TPM best practices, net revenue management best practices, business strategy, and organizational transformation
· Lead business development efforts, including identifying new business opportunities, developing proposals, and negotiating contracts
· Participate in industry events, conferences, and other networking activities to build organization’s reputation as a thought leader in the consulting industry
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's or master’s degree in business management, technology, finance or a related field
· Minimum of 15+ years of experience in consulting field, with a proven track record of leadership and success
· Minimum 10 years of CPG experience in the areas of Trade Promotions, Net Revenue Management, Trade Promotion Optimization etc.
· Experience with implementing leading TPM and TPO solutions is recommended
· Strong business acumen, leadership, and strategic thinking skills
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, team members, and other stakeholders
· Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and deliver high-value consulting services
· Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
· Ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to complex business challenges
· Deep knowledge of the consulting industry, including trends, best practices, and emerging technologies
· Strong financial and budget management skills, with experience managing large budgets and driving profitability
· Demonstrated commitment to ethical and legal standards, including client confidentiality and data protection
· Flexibility to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events
