Overview

The Workday Recruiting Lead will lead the recruiting design and implementation for the organization’s Workday recruiting module and partnering with Talent Acquisition collaborators. This position requires strong Workday Recruiting knowledge and must have shown work experience implementing or supporting Workday Recruiting in large global organizations demonstrating global standard processes from prior implementations.

The HR Modernization Team reinvents, improves, and deploys global tools, technology, and programs in our HCM. As a critical member of this team, you will be responsible & accountable for multidisciplinary global implementation in Workday recruitment with the TA leaderships support and approval, the continuous optimization and adoption of THIS TOOL across the enterprise. You will work to evolve a digital-first employee experience.

The ideal candidate will ensure fit for purpose business processes by recognizing the needs of business customers, optimizing processes and standard methodologies, evaluating options, challenging inefficient practices, identifying gaps and potential fits, participating in release planning, managing solution delivery, change and communication with partners.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with internal team members to own, develop and drive long-term scalable solutions that help improve HR processes and simplify user experience. Build consensus around business processes, business rules, workflows, and design. Translate strategic objectives and user needs into clearly written requirements. Continuously challenge the business to move from outdated processes to efficient, scalable practices.

  • Serve as a system administrator for module and the go-to subject matter authority; ensuring any and all activity is in this system of record.

  • Provide support to functional owners and end users by diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving sophisticated system issues. Researches and minimizes reported problems or difficulties within HR platforms, drives resolution of issues, analyzes security issues, and recommends corrective and proactive action.

  • Create and maintain documentation on Business Processes, configuration, and other materials.

  • Implement testing to meet business requirements - perform functional system testing, and handle User Acceptance testing securing sign-off.

  • Deliver training and create training materials as needed

  • Drive ongoing improvements to the platform and stay abreast of new improvements to the system modules

  • Ensure integrity and organizational alignment of data structures. Write and analyze reports, review system audit reports, and recommend process or technical change.

  • Participate actively in the Workday Community as a Workday advocate within the organization

Minimum Qualifications

  • Five years overall experience

  • Four years of Workday Recruiting customer-side implementation experience with large, global companies, with exposure to all areas of recruiting and their related business processes

  • Demonstrated understanding of Recruitment practices and industry standards

  • Skilled with end-to-end demand lifecycle within Workday, including handoffs between modules that directly interact with Recruiting

  • Strong abilities in technical landscapes, including build, and bought tools and technologies related to Recruiting.

  • Strong Project Management skills and meticulous adherence to deadlines and landmarks

  • Ability to challenge current processes to advocate for scalable solutions

  • Comfortable having tough conversations with end users and leadership alike

  • Strong oral and written communications with excelling collaboration and social skills

  • Understanding of User Acceptance Testing processes

  • Demonstrates analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to analyze/synthesize data, understand trends, draw conclusions, and make recommendations for actions

  • Understanding of Workday and cloud technologies

  • Ability to lead work performed by outsourced vendor both on and offshore

  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and in a matrixed environment

  • Lead and prioritize effectively

  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality

Preferred Qualifications

  • University degree

  • In excess of five years overall experience

  • More than four years Workday Recruiting

  • Multiple global end to end implementations

Salary And Other Compensation

Position will be posted until 1/24/23

The annual salary for this position at a full-time rate is between [$143,510 - $ 173,960 ] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. We will pro-rate this range accordingly to align with the 30 hr./week requirement.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
