Role Summary: Client Partner, Banking & Financial Services, Capital Markets
Cognizant’s Client Partners represent Cognizant’s primary ongoing point of contact with clients within accounts. Client Partners drive new account business, transform the current book of business, and collaborate with Cognizant’s engagement and delivery teams to ensure exemplary client satisfaction.
The Client Partner (CP), Banking & Financial Services, Capital Markets will be the primary commercial owner of one or more of a portfolio of accounts across multiple Cognizant service lines. The Client partner will be accountable for new business expansion within assigned account(s) and/or portfolio of accounts.
Responsibilities:
The Client Partner, Banking & Financial Services, Capital Markets leader will be a key executive leading the Southeast region, representing and managing Cognizant's account(s) or portfolio of banking & financial services accounts across multiple Cognizant service lines. The Client Partner will be responsible for growth, health, and prospects of accounts, as the end-to-end account owner, via relationship building with CXO client executives, and be responsible for overall account P & L and executive relationships. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
o Drive profitable growth through identifying and leading all aspects of new, renewal, and expansion opportunities
o Develop client engagement strategies and quantify costs of pursuit
o Review the account metrics with the delivery, operations, and finance teams on regular basis
o Drive, grow and manage increasing revenues, operating margin, client satisfaction, and employee growth and development
o Lead accountability against measurable revenue and profit growth within set timelines
o Be part of senior management reviews for the performance metrics of the account
o Collaborate with multiple service lines, innovation teams and business teams in Cognizant to formulate a business plan and implement it at account level
o Have regular meetings and collaborate with the CXO level client executives in decision making and influential roles
o Responsible for execution and customer satisfaction in all the revenue portfolios
o Identify and forge partnerships, and tap into existing alliance partnerships of Cognizant's to grow the account(s)
o Actively drive execution of the innovation agenda for the portfolio
o Focus on developing a plan and continuously implementing the plan to increase the visibility of Cognizant in the account relationship, and as a thought leader in the banking and financial services industry
· Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 15+ years in the domain, in a client facing role or account leadership role, in an IT professional services or management consulting firm
- Experience of leading diverse teams, experience of cultivating and collaborating in a multi-cultural, global environment
- Strong experience with the global service delivery model
- In-depth understanding of business problem domain, technology, and services solution domains for the targeted industry vertical.
- A strong performance track record of leading different portfolios-ranging from sales, new sales, programs and existing annuity business
- Ability to navigate a large organization, work in a multifaceted matrix and have the power of persuasion through content and confidence
- Ability to lead a client P&L of at least $35/40 million dollars, including reporting and metric assessment for the account
- The ability to conceptualize, analyze, build blueprint for business transformations and present solutions in the (BU/Practice) domain
- Bachelor’s Degree
Preferred Qualifications
o Strong background in a project environment and application development
o Proven ability to contribute to new business development efforts and to lead and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
o Must be detail oriented and able to manage and maintain all facets of complex assignments.
o Demonstrable problem-solving abilities with aptitude to identify strategic solutions to business problems with enterprise implications
o Demonstrate the flexibility to work among diverse corporate environments, industries, and technical and non-technical audiences
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $162,500 to $331,900 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
