Cognizant Technology Solutions is looking for “Senior Support Analyst (Clinical/Life Sciences domain) ” to join in our team of IT professionals in a permanent role. Location : Foster City CA - Require onsite.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Experienced in Project management, resource and delivery management. Capable of performing reviews and optimizing benefits. Clarity in communication and comfortable in written and oral communication. Experienced in client, vendor and internal stakeholder management.
Adept at making presentations and status reporting. Ability to manage large teams and resolve issues amicably. Good decision making and knowledge of Clinical/Life Sciences domain. Experience in agile/scrum project execution preferred.
Accountable for managing day to day operational support, enabling the business to scale while improving key performance indicators impacting their efficiencies and improving overall customer experience.
Proposes and implements solutions for improved IT documentation and Process description.
Monitors system performance and reliability to maintain high availability, load balancing, and satisfactory response time; works with managed services and colleagues to resolve performance issues.
Provide on-call support as needed, collaborating effectively with team members
Deliver programming/scripting assistance to support system enhancements when possible.
Actively participate in and lead IT operation activities, including planned maintenance, communication, and installations.
Performs complex configuration, change management, and testing activities to support a service-oriented architecture and application integration. This includes installing new software releases and system upgrades, evaluating and implementing patches, and managing application migrations, refreshes, and restores
• Experience in Support, Maintenance, Enhancement for laboratory applications and Customer handling & Delivery
• Must have knowledge on GxP, SDLC, ITIL process, ITL Tools like BMC remedy or Service Now or Jira etc.
• Candidate must have capable to understand Discovery Applications, Laboratory applications and able to support and maintenance based on Business requirement
• Knowledge or understanding of querying language like SQL/Oracle is much added advantage.
Work Authorization:
Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States.
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position will be between $110,000 - $ 130,000/year on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
