We are hiring for one of our major tech clients a Team Manager. This position will be responsible for overseeing and supporting our US and Canadian Logistics teams. The Team Manager is a crucial part of our operations who understands our client’s needs and can develop processes as a solution. This role will have the ability to lead a distributed team ensuring client deliverables are managed successfully, upholds, and cultivates an excellent communication structure. The ideal candidate is tech savvy, thrives in a demanding environment, has experience in Logistics processes and is an experienced people leader.
Responsibilities (duties include but are not limited to):
- Lead all aspects of day-to-day operations and successful client delivery.
- Serve as on-site lead for our Mountain View location, being the point of contact for management for any topics related to the site.
- Be a liaison between your team and the client partners. Build a positive relationship with key partners, understand their requirements and be able to translate those into actionable deliverables for the team.
- Create, review, maintain, improve business process documentation on a regular basis.
- Establish individual and team performance goals. Mentor, provide constructive feedback and improve team morale to create a safe and positive environment.
- Build operational SOPs and drive the creation and maintenance of training materials. Review, analyze, improve, and document business processes on a regular basis.
- Support the Operations Lead in the hiring process and other operational activities and procedures.
- Always looking for ways to improve existing or introduce new processes for higher efficiency and better outcomes.
- Provide and set clear objectives, define work priorities, and allocate resources effectively through effective communication.
- Drive compliance on all relevant policies and procedures.
- Resolve employee issues in a timely manner and escalate when required.
- Cultivate a collaborative and inclusive work environment which promotes knowledge sharing, continuous learning, and teamwork.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/training in Logistics, Operation Management or Project Management
- 5+ years’ Logistics experience in a technical environment
- 4+ years in a supervisory role
- Seasoned in customer management and fostering relationships.
- Thrives in a fast-paced work environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to learn and apply innovative technologies and tools.
- Proficient in Google Workspace applications, advanced knowledge of spreadsheets and formulas, and ability to write automation scripts in Google Apps Script

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
