Summary
We are seeking an experienced communicator with 5-7 years of professional experience to join our dynamic and diverse team. Reporting to the Head of Global Communications, the Communications Manager will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing comprehensive global communication strategies to build brand awareness and thought leadership of Lenovo’s Solutions and Services Group (SSG). You will be working with some of the smartest people around the world on many exciting projects, with the opportunities to learn, to contribute and to have fun!
Key Responsibilities:
- Digital and Social Media Management: Work with our social media agency and global social media team to develop and drive a social media content strategy for the profiling of our executives, building thought leadership, and establishing brand equity and advocacy across various digital platforms.
- Public Relations: In partnership with our global PR agency, drive strategy for media pitching, maintain a network of media contacts, deliver signature stories, host media briefings, and provide counsel to spokespersons.
- Content Creation: Produce high-quality content, and review/edit key content pieces (such as press releases Q&A documents, bylines) to ensure consistent tone, accuracy and message delivery across earned, paid, and owned channels.
- Collaboration: Work closely with various internal stakeholders including senior leadership, corporate communications, geo teams and other Business Units to align communication efforts with overall business objectives.
Qualification & Experience:
- Degree in IT or Communicaiton or Marketing
- Professional marketing or communication background with 5-7 years relevant experience.
- Organization of public relations, marketing, and communications activities and materials including publications, and media relations.
- Familiarity with the latest technology trends like AI, VR, AR and Hybrid Cloud.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
