Lenovo's Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) is innovating the future-defined data center, today. From the simplest to the most complex IT environments for all types of workloads, our servers, storage, networking and solutions help maximize the potential of data centers. We are seeking a Sales Manager who will focus on our Next Wave Cloud Service Provider space. 

This role entails:
  • Selling Lenovo solutions to Next Wave CSP clients, coordinating design and build with Lenovo’s Next Wave CSP organization.
  • Managing sales territory and account engagements to exceed quota targets.
  • Enhancing Lenovo's visibility in Next Wave CSP through interactions with the Channel and community.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with Account decision-makers, key business partners, and influencers.
  • Collaborating with other Lenovo sales teams, product, and support organizations to achieve revenue objectives and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintaining market and competitive knowledge to ensure credibility with Customers.
  • Educating customers on Lenovo’s technology and Data Center Infrastructure offerings.
  • Conceptualizing, developing, and delivering technical presentations to all levels of the organization.
  • Developing long-term sales pipelines and relationships to increase Lenovo’s market share.
  • Setting direction for business development and solution replication.
  • Establishing consultative relationships with clients, including the C-level, understanding their unique business needs.
  • Contributing to enduring executive relationships that promote Lenovo’s total capabilities.
  • Maintaining expertise on typical budgets, objectives, measures, and metrics of the customer’s leadership team.
Scope & Impact:
  • Work on a specified number of accounts of greater strategic (long-term) value to Lenovo.
  • Spend significant time directly interfacing with customers at all levels, including technical buyers and Procurement.
  • Accountable for higher-than-average revenue.

Basic Requirements:

  • A BS or BA degree
  • 8+ years of technical sales experience required
  • 5+ years of management experience required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of sales with server/data center products.
  • Experience selling to Cloud Service Providers is highly preferred.
  • Experience in the strategic selling of future and current technologies.
  • Ability to create quarterly business plans.
  • Integrity, willingness to provide feedback in challenging situations.
The base salary range budgeted for this position is $117,000 - $160,000. Individuals may also be considered for bonuses and/or commissions. Lenovo’s various benefits can be found at www.lenovobenefits.com.
