The eCommerce Gaming Senior Business Manager will be the leader of the global WW gaming business. They will build the strategy, identify opportunities, define site experience needs and establish a deep organizational understanding of the audience to create strong customer connections – all focused on the Gamer Segment. He/she will be passionate about running a global business in the gaming industry and will understand how to effectively define, pitch, prioritize and coordinate key eCommerce initiative launches and scale globally by coordinating cross-functional teams. He/she will build an audience-centered strategy to scale the B2C eCommerce Gaming Segment business while executing innovative and immersive program strategies from engagement to conversion. This role is critical to defining how Lenovo evolves the Gaming Segment value proposition to customers for near-term execution plans and long-term vision roadmaps. The successful candidate will have a passion and knowledge of the Gaming industry as well as experience managing an eCommerce property. He/she will be data-driven, and ardent in implementing his/her strategy, working closely with cross-functional teams and local country Gaming eCommerce leads.  

 

Specific responsibilities include:  

  • Be the strategic & entrepreneurial leader of the WW Gaming segment business in eCommerce 
  • Identify opportunities to engage Gaming audiences and build the overall eCommerce vision, strategy, and competitive differentiation to drive market share. 
  • Develop partnerships that capture Segment audience attention for new opportunities and as amplifiers of Segment solutions currently offered. 
  • Lead a cross-functional team to deliver best in class solutions, site experience, and programs that will drive customer loyalty and lifetime value 
  • Be the primary interface to the Lenovo Legion Business Unit to align strategies and coordinate a winning go-to-market approach, including implementation across all WW regions 
  • Understand and manage worldwide & local geo operating models effectively to coordinate and provide valuable support across and from worldwide groups (example: Country Specific Audiences, User Experience, Marketing) 
  • Proactively identify and mitigate operational issues and potential obstacles in meeting Gaming Segment business objectives 

Position Qualifications:  

Required 

  • Bachelor’s Degree 
  • 12+ years combined experience working in the Gaming/eCommerce spaces in various capacities. Roles in program, product, brand, or general management or equivalent product or business ownership roles. 

Preferred 

  • MBA is highly preferred.  
  • Experience running an annual strategic, budgeting, and/or road mapping process that includes P&L management, target setting, strategic planning, and/or resource allocation.  
  • Superb conceptual thinking and problem-solving at all levels, ability to formulate a plan with high attention to detail, and desire to drive that plan through to completion.  
  • An optimist, comfortable with ambiguity, passionate about helping shape the future for the best through constant improvement. 
  • Understanding of business and marketing strategy; use of addressable market data, competitive data, and differentiators to establish value propositions that resonate with a target audience. 
  • Experience with eCommerce sales and marketing tactics and conversion goals. 
  • Expertise in using web analytics and sales data to drive decisions and identify opportunities for improvement and validate the success of key site changes/enhancements. 

The base salary range budgeted for this position is $130,000 - $155,000. Individuals may also be considered for bonuses and/or commissions. Lenovo’s various benefits can be found at www.lenovobenefits.com.​
