Infrastructure Transformation Project Manager

Cognizant seeking a seasoned Infrastructure Transformation Project Manager with a proven track record of successfully managing projects related to servers, storage, networks, and asset upgrades. The ideal candidate will play a key role in planning, executing, and overseeing our Infrastructure Transformation initiatives to ensure seamless transitions and optimal performance. The role will work out of the office in Charlotte, NC.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning and Execution:

• Develop comprehensive project plans outlining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements.

• Execute Infrastructure Transformation Projects, ensuring they align with organizational goals and timelines.

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand infrastructure requirements and expectations.

• Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, addressing concerns and managing expectations.

Team Leadership:

• Lead cross-functional project teams, ensuring clear communication and collaboration among team members.

• Motivate and guide team members to achieve project goals and deliverables.

Infrastructure Expertise:

• Leverage deep knowledge of server, storage, and network technologies to make informed decisions during project planning and execution.

• Coordinate asset upgrades and replacements to enhance overall infrastructure efficiency.

Risk Management:

• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.

• Monitor and manage project risks throughout the entire project lifecycle.

Budget and Resource Management:

• Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions are implemented.

• Optimize resource allocation to maximize project efficiency.

Quality Assurance:

• Implement quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality infrastructure solutions.

• Conduct regular reviews and audits to measure project success against predefined criteria.

Documentation:

• Create and maintain detailed project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and change requests.

• Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.

 

Qualifications:

Expertise in Infrastructure, Project Planning and Execution.

Strong Stakeholder Management experience

Experience with leading Teams.
